Lessons from Year Sixteen
When Pollock Commercial opened its doors in 2008, the market was loud and uncertain. But from the start, we chose a different rhythm.
We weren’t chasing trends or trying to make noise. We were here to do steady, meaningful work. Work that prioritized trust, listened before leaping, and always looked at the bigger picture.
Sixteen years later, that same rhythm still guides us.
We’ve helped national firms find their first Atlanta footprint. We’ve supported homegrown companies through multiple chapters of growth. And we’ve walked with clients through market swings, complex negotiations, and the kind of decisions that don’t always fit neatly in a brochure.
Markets change. Skylines shift. But what’s stayed constant is how we show up. For our clients, for each other, and for the work itself.
In a field often fueled by urgency, we’ve learned the strength of staying steady.
Clarity matters most when things get murky. And of knowing that sometimes the best move is to pause, listen, and move with intention.
The work we do doesn’t always come with a spotlight. It happens in quiet moments of strategy, in hallway conversations, in plans made with clarity and care. That’s the kind of work we’re proud to keep doing, and the reason clients continue to return, deal after deal.
Thank you to the clients, colleagues, partners, and friends who’ve trusted us along the way. Year sixteen is about continuing to look forward. Still grounded in the values that got us here.
A fun look back
Last month, our very own Katie Sentell's husband created this beautiful custom print to celebrate our years in business. Here's a fun look at how it was made.
